Interviews will then be scheduled through a separate software link which the Coordinator will send. This will allow applicants to schedule their interview on a day that works best for them. If the need to move your interview to another day arises, you can do so on your own through this same software link.
The interview day will begin with touring the facility and meeting the Coordinator. Then, each interviewee will have a one-on-one interview with the Program Director.
At the end of each day, there will be some residents at a local restaurant to meet for dinner and enjoy discussion in an informal setting. Apply with ERAS. If you do not pass the exam, your exam will not be reimbursed and you must take the exam again.
Within the first two months of your residency program, you will receive a check designated for food purchases and groceries throughout the academic year. ORMC will contact you prior to Orientation, and at the beginning of each consecutive academic year in regards to what lab coat style and size you would like. ORMC will pay for the lab coats and for the embroidering of names. The once a year food stipend is given in a separate check during the first months of the residency.
