I've seen a lot posts regarding image issues which were resolved by using a new, or better. This originally started during the Windows 10 creator update. I watched as the colors went from normal to washed out and a lot of users had the same problem. Maybe the game is forcing the color, and then after restart your card or settings is not adjusted properly.

You have advanced setting on right click on desktop. NVidia Control Panel for you advanced settings. Also your Card may not support 4K. I just think possibly your card does not support 4K and if it does, I would have to be there to check out many things.
