Seattle dock zip code

We have been keeping our boat at Elliott Bay Marina for close to 14 years. Very Satisfied is the best way to sum up our experience! Lovely facilities and location. The best part is the staff.

They seem to stay around and first name basis makes for better service. We have kept our boats in top marinas in Miami, California, The Great Lakes and Texas over the years and EBM is the absolute friendliest, safest and best-managed of any we have ever found. Which is why we have been here for nearly 20 years now.

We have had four different vessels moored at Elliott Bay Marina over the past 18 years. Great facility and great staff, and the fuel dock is much more than just a fuel dock! The marina is my sanctuary.

A place of quiet and beauty. Everyone is cheerful by the water — and why not? It is so calming. If I am having a stressful day, the marina takes it all away. I took my six grandkids to the fuel dock in the Zodiac. They raided the place and we left with enough energy food to make me either the best grandpa ever or the worst depending on who is talking.

Thanks for making Elliott Bay much more than a place to moor the boat. We are not seasoned cruisers, but this marina was an outstanding experience for us. The staff is super accommodating and friendly and the onsite restaurants are a huge plus. The restrooms and showers were the best we have seen so far and also the cleanest. Highly recommend a stay here! Away from the city chaos with one of a kind sweeping views of Seattle, Puget Sound and islands.

Fine dining and a bar and grill with large outdoor patio. Great little shop at the fuel dock where you can pick up local wines and brews…and ice cream treats.

We love Elliott Bay Marina! No question is dumb! Thank you to Jordan, Brandon and the rest of the crew for always answering all of our questions. Always a great experience at Elliott Bay Marina, the staff and the beauty and the cleanliness keep us coming back … Love the breakfast at the local restaurant also.. Really outstanding people, I had people rush to open a door since I just bought a sailboat there and I was loading stuff all day, I was impressed!

Quiet, hidden gem. The last 4 digits represent specific delivery routes within delivery areas. It helped divide the country into different "zones" according to how mail was distributed , which accelerated sorting and delivery.

ZIP "Zippy". They also released the ZIP Code jingle:. As the US population has increased and scattered since , it's been necessary to expand on the system, to make room for everybody and their dog.

That's where the "plus 4" part comes in. We're getting ahead of ourselves, though, so let's start with the basics. If you're mailing a letter from Boston to Seattle, the mail carrier in Massachusetts doesn't really care what the street address of the destination is. It's what you might call "outside his jurisdiction. A postal worker can only cover so much ground on a given day.

And since the USPS has a standard of delivering in rain, sleet or snow, that rules out the possibility of doing the service of delivering in stages some today, some tomorrow. That means that any given post office is only servicing what it can reach in a day. ZIP Codes reflect that. Typically, a ZIP Code is tied to a post office; by that we mean, every one of the latter has one of the former.

You might think of ZIP Codes as a mailing address for a particular post office. Wait Time. Please watch for signage to queue for Bainbridge Island or Bremerton. Check traffic conditions and be prepared to add up to 30 minutes of additional travel time to reach Colman Dock. An enclosed walkway connects the temporary pedestrian bridge to the passenger building. During busy times, customers will queue in the walkway, with separate lines for Bainbridge Island and Bremerton. There is an additional self-serve kiosk within the passenger building.

Please arrive about 15 minutes before your scheduled sailing. All other riders must enter through the toll plaza. Please watch for signs or speak with staff to ensure that you queue in the correct holding lane. We appreciate your cooperation and patience. Do not cut across the holding lanes or exit through the toll plaza.
